About Us

Sheepskinshop is the on-line retail outlet for The Easirider Company Limited.

Easirider specialises in manufacturing seat covers and over rugs for cars and aircraft using genuine sheepskin. The Company was formed by Peter Robinson in 1971. He was joined in 1975 by Christine Fisher and Charles Afford and this team remain together to this day. Our CAR and AIRCRAFT programs can be viewed in detail on our specialist web sites www.easirider.com and www.aviationsheepskin.com .

In addition to these core products, over the past 35 years our workshop has made and developed literally hundreds of sheepskin products. Some items you would expect; slippers, rugs, hats etc., but in a lot of instances we have tried out new ideas; Hot Water Bottle Covers,Saddle Covers, Seat Belt Covers, Wash & Polish Mitts, Racing Sheep & Furniture to name but a few....

We are founder members of the Real Sheepskin Association and through its award schemes have provided mentoring and assistance for many up and coming designers - most recently we provided the upholstery input to LUCAS OPALINSKI the winner of the Sheepskin Design Award at NEW DESIGNERS 2006.
